"I crossed paths with Nancy while looking at training options for my Pitbull mix Ty. She introduced me to the Foundations 1 course at the Vineyard's Dog Agility Club. We took part in this course, and the subsequent Foundations 2 course, and had the pleasure of getting to know Nancy well since she was a part of the team that taught the classes. An integral moment in these classes was when Nancy introduced the concept of shaping skills and behaviours, and allowing your dog to make the choice to participate. Since then Ty and I have officially joined the club, which has been a wonderful experience, but it has also brought unique challenges. In an agility environment, dogs need to be well-socialised, and you are often required to work with your dog off-lead. I was concerned that Ty might not be well equipped to cope with this kind of environment, and I was very nervous of working with him off-lead. Nancy very kindly went out of her way to organise a class that could facilitate Ty and I. Additionally, she organised a number of social walks with other members of our class. We soon learnt that Ty had good intentions when meeting new dogs except his excitement would sometimes startle the other dog (not all dogs enjoy a boisterous play bow at first greetings). She has taught me how to approach walking with other dogs and encourage calm and neutral on-leash greetings. It is very reassuring to have her professional guidance on this matter. Apart from that, she has also become a wonderful friend, and Ty and I also enjoy joining her for walks with her two dogs Roxy and Kiwi."

"Nancy has been the silver lining in our tumultuous journey with our Milly Pup. We had spent thousands on training prior to meeting Nancy, and saw minimal improvement with Milly's fear-based aggression. We were hesitant to try someone new, but Nancy has been the best decision we have made for our Milly. Not only is Nancy kind, she is incredibly knowledgeable and truthful. We have always felt well informed and have never been confused with Nancy at the helm. She has become part of our pack, and although Milly and Nancy aren't best friends yet, we think they will be.
